There is no special requirement for the plastic linear bearing bearing shaft; it can bear a larger load than the metal bearing, but because the movement between the bearing and the shaft is sliding friction, the speed of the plastic linear bearing is limited; the motion resistance is more straight than the metal. The bearing is large; but its motion noise is lower than that of the metal linear bearing, especially in the case of medium and high speed, the plastic linear bearing noise has very little influence on the speed. Due to the internal design of the chip flute, the plastic linear bearing is allowed to be used in places with large dust. The dust automatically takes out the friction surface of the bearing body from the flute during the movement; the plastic linear bearing also allows during use. Cleaning, internal sliding film made of special materials can even be used for long-term operation in liquids.

Plastic linear bearings can be divided into two series of LIN-11 and LIN-12 series, the code name LIN-11 represents the European standard plastic linear bearing, while the LIN-12 series is a narrow design, mainly to save installation space. The design; the difference between the two series is that the LIN-11 series is mounted with a circlip limit, while the LIN-12 series is directly mounted with a tight fit to the mounting hole.
